## Summary
When someone opens an IBKR individual or joint account through a friend's referral link and funds it, they earn $1 in IBKR stock for every $300 deposited, up to a maximum of $1000 in shares. The existing client who referred them separately earns $200 once the new account deposits and maintains at least $10,000.

## Requirements
1. Use a current IBKR client's unique referral link to apply.
2. Open an individual or joint account through that link.
3. Deposit funds; you receive $1 in IBKR stock for every $300 deposited.

## Fine print that matters
- Tax-deferred accounts are ineligible for the referral bonus or IBKR stock award.
