## Summary
SoFi Plus members get a 1% cash match on eligible deposits into a taxable SoFi Invest account. To keep the full match you must stay a SoFi Plus member for one year and leave the deposited funds in the account for five years, or the match can be partially or fully clawed back.

## Requirements
1. Become a SoFi Plus member and keep the subscription active when the deposit settles.
2. Make an eligible cash deposit (instant transfer from a SoFi bank account or ACH) into a taxable self-directed or robo SoFi Invest account.
3. Remain a SoFi Plus member for one continuous year after the deposit settles.
4. Keep the deposited funds in the account for five years to retain the full match.

## Fine print that matters
- Match excludes internal transfers and ACAT transfers.
- Canceling SoFi Plus within one year of the deposit forfeits the entire match.
- Withdrawing funds before the five-year holding period triggers a proportional early withdrawal fee.
- An ACAT transfer out during the five-year period forfeits the entire match for that deposit.
- The match may be taxable and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT, 1099-MISC, or 1042-S.
- SoFi Plus carries a $10 monthly subscription fee.
