## Fine print that matters
- The reward period runs April 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026, so the three activity months must fall inside it.
- Both the debit spend and the $2,500 average balance must be met in the same statement period for that month to count.
- Qualifying deposits include direct deposit, external ACH, in-branch teller deposits, mobile check deposits, and incoming wires.
- ATM deposits, micro-deposits, internal transfers, and P2P payments such as Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal do not count toward the $1,500.
- Debit card money transfers, ATM transactions, and P2P payments do not count toward the five qualifying purchases.
- Clients holding a Star Plus Checking account as of March 31, 2026 are not eligible.
- Closing the account during the reward period forfeits the offer and you cannot requalify by opening a new one.
- Limit one offer per customer, paid to the primary account owner, and reported to the IRS.
