## Summary
Chase publishes almost none of the numbers. What you earn depends on the card and on whatever offer is running when your friend is approved, and the annual cap is shown only after you enter your name, ZIP and last four digits. What Chase does state plainly is the mechanics: the friend must use your exact URL or you get nothing, and there is a throttle if too many people use your link in one month.

## How the referrer gets their link
Enter your name, ZIP and last four digits on Chase's Refer a Friend page, or open your card in the Chase Mobile app and tap Refer friends.

## Fine print that matters
- Chase confirms a maximum reward cap per calendar year for each Refer a Friend offer, but publishes the figure only on the offer page you reach after a card lookup.
- There is a monthly throttle on top of the annual cap. If 10 or more friends use your link within a month to apply, Chase may at its discretion pay you nothing for those referred that month who are approved.
- The friend must apply through your exact URL. Chase states that if the link is mis-copied in any way you will not receive credit.
- Sending the link by text requires you to confirm you have the recipient's consent.
- Chase will not tell you who applied or whether they were approved, citing the confidentiality of credit approval.
- Chase's public pages do not address whether you may post your referral link publicly. The binding offer terms sit behind the card lookup, so we cannot confirm silence there.
