inKind is currently paying $50 for a referral and $25 to the person referred, on a promotion its own terms say runs through August 31, 2026. The unusual part is that inKind's referrals page states no referrer figure at all: it describes the reward only as a credit, and the $25 people quote for the referrer is the label on a tab inside the app rather than a published rate. Both amounts are dining credit inside the app, not withdrawable cash.

Looking to open one instead? We track the inKind sign-up bonus separately. That is what a new customer gets. This page is what you get for referring one.

How you get your link

Open the inKind app and share your referral link from the referrals screen.

  • Share your referral link

What the person you refer gets

$25 dining credit. They must make a first dining purchase of $50 or more.

The cap, exactly

inKind publishes no cap for this program. That is not the same as there being none, so confirm on the terms page before you plan around it.

Tax treatment

inKind publishes no position on how this reward is taxed. The tax falls on the person doing the referring, not the person referred. This is reference information, not tax advice.

Where you may share this link

The terms do not say

We read inKind's published terms and they do not address where you may share your link. That is not the same as permission. Silence leaves you without a rule to point to if the reward is ever questioned, so Dealaka hosts no links for this program.

When it pays

After the new member's first qualifying purchase.

The fine print that matters

  • The $50 is a promotion with a stated end date of August 31, 2026, after which the rate is expected to fall. It reached us by email rather than by any published page.
  • inKind's referrals page does not state a referrer amount anywhere. It says only that you receive a credit, and the $25 commonly quoted is the name of an in-app tab.
  • The person you refer gets $25 off, and must spend $50 or more on a first meal paid through the app.
  • Both sides are paid in dining credit. inKind's terms say balances are not redeemable for cash unless required by law.
  • Referral earnings are classified as inKind Cash Back, which the terms expire on a rolling basis rather than holding indefinitely.
  • No cap on referral count or value is stated in either the referrals page or the terms, and both say the opposite. That is an absent cap, not a confirmed unlimited one.
