Service 1st Federal Credit Union

A federally chartered central Pennsylvania credit union from 1975, $831 million in assets and about 51,000 members. It has the most permissive bonus terms of any institution we track: the only bar is holding a Service 1st checking account today, with no look-back window at all, so an existing member without checking is explicitly invited. Membership runs through 1,700 employer groups including Geisinger, or through qualifying census tracts in nine counties, and the census-tract qualifier means living in the right county is not always enough.
