Service 1st Federal Credit Union pays up to $300 for opening a new checking account. You get $150 for making a debit card transaction within 30 days and enrolling in digital banking, plus another $150 for setting up a qualifying direct deposit of at least $250 within 30 days.

How to get the Service 1st Federal Credit Union Checking bonus

1. Open a qualified Service 1st checking account.
2. Enroll in a Service 1st Visa debit card, digital banking, and eStatements.
3. Make a debit card transaction within 30 days of account opening to earn $150.
4. Set up a qualifying direct deposit of at least $250 within 30 days of account opening to earn an additional $150.
5. Keep the checking account open for at least 6 months.

The fine print that matters

• Existing Service 1st checking account holders are not eligible.
• Limited to one checking account bonus per member and does not apply to business accounts.
• Minimum direct deposit amount to qualify is $250; deposits made via digital banking or internet payment providers do not count.
• Account must remain open at least 6 months or the bonus will be deducted from the balance at closing.
• Bonus will be credited within 90 business days after all requirements are met.
• Cannot be combined with other offers except the Service 1st refer-a-friend offer.
• Cash bonuses must be reported as taxable income.
• Offer may be modified or withdrawn at any time without notice.
• Savings account with $5 minimum balance and one-time $1 membership fee required for credit union membership.
