Bankers Trust Checking

Open a BreakFree Checking Plus or Direct Checking Plus account in person with at least $25 and complete 25 debit transactions plus two direct or mobile deposits of $200 or more within 60 days to earn a $400 bonus. The bonus is paid within 75 days of opening the account.

How to get the Bankers Trust Checking bonus

1. Open a BreakFree Checking Plus or Direct Checking Plus account in person at a branch with a minimum $25 deposit.
2. Complete 25 qualifying debit transactions within 60 days of account opening.
3. Receive 2 direct (ACH) and/or mobile deposits of at least $200 each within 60 days of account opening.
4. Keep the account open with a positive balance for eligibility verification.
5. Bonus is credited within 75 days of account opening.

The fine print that matters

• Limit one bonus per household.
• Not available to existing Bankers Trust checking customers or those who had one within six months of bonus account opening.
• Employees of Bankers Trust and affiliates are not eligible.
• Early closing fee of $400 will be charged if the account is closed within 12 months of opening.
• Account must open by September 30, 2026.
• Bonus only credited if account is open with a positive balance.
