How to get the BECU Checking and Savings bonus
- Have your friend open a BECU checking and savings account using promo code REFER90TH and your referral code.
- Complete 10 qualifying transactions within the first 30 days of account opening.
- Keep both accounts open and in good standing for at least 90 days.
- Receive the bonus deposit within 120 days of account opening.
The fine print that matters
- Offer valid 6/1/2026 to 8/31/2026.
- New member receives $100 and referring member receives $190, deposited within 120 days of opening qualifying accounts.
- Referred friend must not be an existing member and must not have been a member in the past six months.
- Joint account holders, business, fiduciary, HSA, zero dividend, early saver account holders, and BECU employees are not eligible.
- Referring members may refer up to 25 people per session and 500 times total during the promotion.
- Bonus reported as interest income on Form 1099-INT for new member and may be reported on Form 1099-MISC for referring member.
- Cannot be combined with other promotions.
- BECU may deny rewards for suspected fraud, collusion, or abuse.
