How to get the Credit Union of Texas Secure Checking bonus

1. Go to a CUTX branch and mention the $250 bonus offer when opening a new Secure or Secure Plus Checking account.
2. Open the account with a minimum deposit of $25.
3. Set up and maintain a direct deposit of at least $600 per month.
4. Keep the account open and in good standing for at least 60 days to receive the matching deposit bonus.
5. Keep the account open with direct deposit for at least 6 months or the bonus may be debited at closing.

The fine print that matters

• Bonus offer is only valid on Secure Checking and Secure Plus Checking accounts.
• Not valid for second checking accounts, cannot be combined with other offers, and limited to one bonus per household.
• The promotion flyer must be presented at account opening in person.
• Bonus funds are considered interest by the IRS and reportable on IRS Form 1099-INT.
• The matching deposit bonus amount is based on the initial deposit and will not exceed $250.
• Account must remain open with direct deposit for at least six months or the bonus may be debited at closing.
