How to get the Wells Fargo Initiate Business Checking bonus
- Open a new eligible Wells Fargo business checking account online or in a branch by September 8, 2026, using your bonus offer code.
- Bring $25,000 or more in deposits to the account by day 30 from account opening.
- Maintain that balance through day 60 from account opening.
- Complete 5 or more qualifying posted transactions within the 60-day period.
- Receive your bonus deposited into the account within 30 days after meeting all requirements.
The fine print that matters
- Offer is for new business checking customers only, limited to one bonus per business entity or owner within 24 months.
- Deposit tiers determine bonus: $2,500-$9,999 pays $400, $10,000-$24,999 pays $550, $25,000+ pays $825.
- If balance drops to a lower tier during the qualification period, the bonus is reduced or forfeited if it falls below the lowest tier.
- Zelle transfers, ATM/teller/ACH/wire withdrawals, and transfers between Wells Fargo accounts do not count as qualifying transactions.
- Not eligible if the business currently owns or closed a Wells Fargo business checking account within the past 90 days, or is owned by a Wells Fargo employee.
