How to get the Chase Private Client Checking bonus

  1. Request an offer code by entering your email.
  2. Meet with a banker to open or upgrade to a Chase Private Client Checking account.
  3. Transfer $500,000 or more in qualifying new money or securities within 45 days of enrollment.
  4. Maintain the new money balance for 90 days from offer enrollment.
  5. Receive the bonus deposited into your account within 40 days after requirements are met.

The fine print that matters

  • Tiered bonus: $1,000 for $150,000-$249,999.99, $2,000 for $250,000-$499,999.99, $3,000 for $500,000+.
  • New money cannot be existing deposits, funds or securities already held at Chase or its affiliates.
  • Only one Chase Private Client new money bonus, J.P. Morgan Private Client new money bonus, or savings promotional rate offer allowed per 12-month period.
  • Coupon is good for one-time use and only one bonus per account.
  • Bonus is considered interest and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT or 1042-S.
