First Heroes National Bank pays up to $250 to military members and their families who open a Service 1 or Service 1 High Yield checking account. You earn $50 for a direct deposit of at least $600 within 45 days of opening, another $50 for a similar deposit near your six month mark, and a final $150 for one more near your twelve month mark.

1. Open a new Service 1 or Service 1 High Yield checking account.
