HSBC Premier Checking

HSBC will pay up to $5,000 to new customers who open a Premier checking account and fund it with qualifying deposits or investments. The bonus tier depends on how much you deposit, ranging from $1,500 for $150,000 to $5,000 for $1,000,000 or more, and you must maintain that balance for three full months after opening.

How to get the HSBC Premier Checking bonus

1. Open an HSBC Premier checking account by August 31, 2026.
2. Add your preferred amount of deposits and/or eligible investments within 20 calendar days of account opening.
3. Maintain the required qualifying balance for 3 full consecutive months following the account opening month.
4. Remain opted in to receive HSBC marketing emails.

The fine print that matters

• Bonus tier depends on deposit/investment amount: $1,500 for $150,000-$249,999, $2,500 for $250,000-$499,999, $3,500 for $500,000-$999,999, $5,000 for $1,000,000+.
• Offer is for new customers only, meaning no current or past HSBC US account on file.
• Ineligible assets include insurance products, annuities, 529 plans, retirement accounts (IRA, Keogh, SIMPLE IRA, 401(k)), UTMA/UGMA accounts, commercial accounts, and trust accounts.
• Bonus is paid within 8 weeks if all requirements are met.
• Must remain opted in to HSBC marketing emails to qualify.
