SECU Total Checking & Rewards

SECU pays $350 for opening a Total Checking & Rewards account, but only to residents of Maryland and its neighbours who set up e-statements and two payroll direct deposits within 90 days.

How to get the SECU Total Checking & Rewards bonus

1. Join SECU if you are not already a member, and open a SECU Total Checking & Rewards account during the promotional period.
2. Set up e-statements on the new checking account.
3. Have at least two separate qualifying payroll direct deposits post to the account within 90 days of opening.

The fine print that matters

• Offer runs 11/1/24-8/31/26 for new SECU members and 8/15/25-8/31/26 for existing members without a checking account.
• Open only to residents of Maryland, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
• Not eligible if you held a SECU checking account in the last 24 months, or received a SECU checking promotion bonus in that period.
• All criteria must be met within 90 days; the $350 is credited to the primary owner within 60 days of qualifying.
• Membership eligibility required. Federally insured by NCUA. Bonus is reported to the IRS on Form 1099-MISC.
