Chase High School Checking

Chase pays $125 when a parent or guardian opens a High School Checking account in branch with their 13 to 17 year old and the teen completes 5 qualifying transactions within 60 days. The bonus lands in the teen's account within 15 days of meeting the requirement.

Eligibility

How to get the Chase High School Checking bonus

1. Have parent/guardian with an eligible Chase checking account present at account opening.
2. Open a Chase High School Checking account in branch with the teen (age 13-17) by 10/14/2026.
3. Complete 5 qualifying transactions (debit card purchases, Zelle, ACH credits, QuickDeposit, or online bill payments) within 60 days of enrollment.
4. Bonus appears in the teen's account within 15 days of completing the qualifying transactions.

The fine print that matters

• Teen can receive only one new checking account opening bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date, and only one bonus per account.
• Account must not be closed or restricted at time of payout.
• Bonus is considered interest and reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or 1042-S if applicable).
• Must open the account in branch with parent/guardian present as co-owner.
• No monthly service fee while linked to parent/guardian's eligible personal checking account (excludes certain other Chase accounts).
• When the teen turns 19, the account converts to a Chase Total Checking account.
