How to get the Stanford FCU Checking bonus
- Open a new Stanford FCU membership with an everyday, high yield, or student spending account.
- Receive at least $2,500 in payroll or Social Security direct deposits monthly for 3 consecutive months.
- Spend at least $1,000 combined per month on Stanford FCU debit/credit cards for 3 consecutive months to earn $500.
- Apply for a Stanford FCU credit card to earn $35.
- Open an additional certificate or savings account with a $1,000+ balance to earn $30.
- Attend a new member welcome appointment, enroll in eStatements, set up alerts, use Zelle, round-ups, and Cashback+ Pay to earn the remaining smaller bonuses.
The fine print that matters
- Each offer must be activated and completed within the eligibility period, which runs through the end of the third full calendar month after joining.
- New member offers are not available to existing members or Stanford FCU employees.
- Offers are limited to one per member and not applicable to additionally opened or joint accounts.
- No offer may be combined with any other Stanford FCU promotion.
- The new membership account must be open, active, and in good standing when rewards are credited.
