WECU Spend Plus Checking

WECU pays a $400 bonus to new members who open a Spend Plus Checking account online and receive a direct deposit of $1,000 or more within the first 60 days. The bonus lands on day 65. Membership is limited to people with a Washington state connection, so this is not a nationwide offer.

1. Qualify for WECU membership by living, working, worshipping, or attending school in Washington.
2. Open a new Spend Plus Checking account online.
3. Receive direct deposits of $1,000 or more into the new account within the first 60 days.
4. Keep the account open through day 65, when the bonus is deposited.

The fine print that matters

• Open to people who have not been a WECU member in the last 12 months.
• You must not have previously received a New Member Bonus.
• Membership requires living, working, worshipping, or attending school in Washington.
• Only tax-reporting account owners are eligible, so foreign members without a tax identification number do not qualify.
• The account carries a $5 monthly fee, waived with more than $100 per month in direct deposit.
• One bonus per person and it cannot be combined with other offers.
• You are responsible for any taxes due on the value of the bonus.
• Offer expires 12/31/26.
